Pars v Killie

Recommended Posts

After a two week lay off the Pars are in action with a home game against Killie. It has been a turbulent lay off for all sorts of reasons and I’m sure many will welcome the sight of an actual game being played. It also marks the forgettable end of the first quarter of games and we can only hope for an improvement over the remaining three quarters of the season. Former premiership side Killie are considered to be one of the hot favorites for the tile and are well placed in 2nd spot but they haven’t had it all their own way, recent form over the past 5 games has earned them 7pts and in total they have scored just 9 goals and only conceded 4. Mind you that is perhaps a world away from the Pars recent form which we are all familiar with and for the reasons of PTSD its worth leaving well alone. PG remains in post and with the two week break I suspect many are not convinced if there will be dramatic changes to recent form. Defensively we so seem to be in better place but our strikers just can’t buy a goal atm. With all the recent negativity I do hope Pars fans get behind the players but I fear the outcome will be familiar 1-2 win for Killie 😕. COYP

I could see a draw. Reckon it might be similar to the ICT game, where both teams were trying to win. A draw might help morale, but not our league position. Maybe the players will be desperate to get a game again. I'll have a listen on the radio on Saturday.

Similar to the Caley game, and same score.

Would be nice to be proved wrong and we give them a 4-0 spanking, or even score a goal.....

Can't see Killie scoring any less than three, and an optimistic two shots on target for us.

I see it going the same way as the QotS game, give us just enough to think we might not lose and then break our spirits late on.

If we get anything out this game I will be surprised.

Hope those that go enjoy the game and maybe even get to see us have a shot on target....but that's a unrealistic hope imo

You could have Shakira in the dug-out tomorrow and I still wouldn't be tempted along. Still! let's hope we show these bassas.

Lucky she's humble unlike grant.

an early Killie goal followed by a worsening performance and increase of frustration/abuse before a second Killie goal with 10-15mins to go to finish it off......its going to be one of those games.
